2 reasons you must not go to Church on Sunday

sabbath-remember1. Sabbath is God’s institution, Sunday is man’s

Simple question, would you rather obey God or man? Jesus was angry about this when he said

” This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.  But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Matthew 15:8-9

Whose doctrine is the Sabbath? Exodus 20:10. God calls the Sabbath, “my holy day.”Isaiah 58:13. The Bible never calls it “the Sabbath of the Jews.” It isn’t their Sabbath, but God’s. The Sabbath was given to Adam and Eve, not Jews, and it is something that would be remembered in all Eternity.

God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it” (Genesis 2:3) before sin entered. “Sanctified” means “to be set apart for holy use.” The only ones in the Garden of Eden for whom the Sabbath was “set apart” were Adam and Eve, who weren’t Jewish. In “the new earth … from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says the Lord.” Isaiah 66:2223. Here God says that “all flesh” we will be keeping the Sabbath in “the new earth.”

Who brought about the Change to Sunday? The catholic church says

“It is well to remind the Presbyterians, Baptists, Methodists, and all other Christians, that the Bible does not support them anywhere in their observance of Sunday. Sunday is an institution of the Roman Catholic Church, and those who observe the day observe a commandment of the Catholic Church.” Priest Brady, in an address, reported in the Elizabeth, NJ ‘News’ on March 18, 1903.

“Protestants … accept Sunday rather than Saturday as the day for public worship after the Catholic Church made the change… But the Protestant mind does not seem to realize that … in observing Sunday, they are accepting the authority of the spokesman for the Church, the pope.” Our Sunday Visitor, February 5th, 1950.

Ask any pastor on the Sabbath and they will tell you its Saturday. Keeping Sunday has seemed to be more easier for many without realizing that it is the mark of authority of the Catholic Church-the mark of the beast.

The Sabbath commandment is God’s stamp of “authority” and approval upon the ten commandments, showing that it is He, the Creator who has given these commands and that they cannot be changed. It contains His “signature” as to who we are to give our allegiance and worship to. The Sabbath commandment WILL be one of the final tests placed upon the world to see who TRULY belongs to God.

2. A Christian MUST keep all of God’s ten commandments.

Christ came to fulfill not break the laws of God. The bible is clear that Christ and His disciples and the early Christians too observed the Sabbath. There is no biblical proof that they changed the Sabbath to Sunday. The Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath … Paul and Barnabas … persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.”‘ Acts 13:4243. Here saved-by-grace Gentiles kept the Sabbath (see also verse 44).

Luke was the only Gentile who wrote any New Testament books (he wrote The Gospel According to St. Luke and The Acts of the Apostles). Luke traveled with Paul and wrote, “On the Sabbath we went out of the city by a river side.” Acts 16:13. It was the seventh-day Sabbath, the memorial of the creation (see Ex. 20:11). Both Luke and Paul knew it.

Christ relates the keeping  of the commandments as an act of love

Joh:14:15: If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Joh:14:21: He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Joh:15:10: If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

John in Revelation saw the saints in Heaven who

Re:14:12: Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Re:22:14: Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
