Stephen Hawking has spoken out about our run in with extraterrestrial creatures and the bad news is it is not going to end well for us, well according to Stephen Hawking.
In an interview with El Pais, the scientist said that if aliens were to visit other planets, they would most likely look to colonize and conquer it.
“If aliens visit us, the outcome could be much like when Columbus landed in America, which didn’t turn out well for the Native Americans,” he explained.
“Such advanced aliens would perhaps become nomads, looking to conquer and colonize whatever planets they can reach.
“To my mathematical brain, the numbers alone make thinking about aliens perfectly rational. The real challenge is to work out what aliens might actually be like.”
The scientist joined hands with Russian entrepreneur Yuri Milner to launch an initiative that has received more than $100 million to use two of the world’s largest telescopes to scan the skies for signals fromn extraterrestrial life as well a competition to create a message that would best represent humans to aliens.
Unfortunately even the largest telescopes can not scan where Christ is.
