God’s promises when you are afraid

Fear is of the devil because the word of God says God has not given us the spirit of fear. “2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

“Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

When you’re afraid and don’t know what to do, then you have to do what you’ve forgotten to do. God’s word is the anchor against all temptations. Believe that God is with you to protect you from all harm. While God is with thee no evil can come near you. Even the devil knows that he cannot harm those that are especially guarded by God. Concerning Job the devil said “Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.Job 1:10”

Why should you fear when you have Heaven on your side??
