I now pronounce you wife and wife: Couple reveal they are renewing their vows but this time husband Tim will be wife Tamsin and wearing a white gown.
A couple who tied the knot less than 18 months ago are planning to renew their wedding vows after the groom has finished transitioning into a woman.
Tamsin and Teresa Worrall, from Harrogate, North Yorkshire, married in September 2014, before Tamsin’s name had been legally changed from Tim.
Tamsin, who lived as a married father-of-two for more than 15 years, has started taking a course of oestrogen and testosterone blockers and is hoping to complete her transition in the next 18 months.
And she is already looking forward to renewing his vows, this time in a wedding dress as Tamsin, rather than in a pink suit as Tim.
The couple met in 2012, three years after Tamsin’s first marriage collapsed when he realised he could no longer live as a man.
