Weekly Sunday service will no longer be compulsory for churches after a vote to change a 400-year-old law was passed by the Church of England's ruling body.
The General Synod voted to end the law – dating back to 1603 – which required priests to hold a Sunday service in every church they looked after.
The Bishop of Willesden, who proposed the change, called it "out of date". The BBC Reports.
Sunday worship was introduced by the Catholic Church during the dark ages and through the sword, forced believers and successive generations to the false narrative of honoring the day of the ressurection of Christ as opposed to God's Holy Sabbath.
The Christian world now hold the argument that Sunday observance is due to the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Sunday. But did the Bible make this change from Saturday to Sunday or it’s just a mere argument with no biblical proof? No! The Bible didn’t make this change. You may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation but you’ll not find a SINGLE verse that warrant Sunday sacredness. Roman Catholic Church strongly admits that the change of Sabbath to Sunday was their act and Sunday sacredness is found no where in God’s word. The Catholic Church claims it has power to change and abrogate God’s precepts. Is this pompous voice that blasphemes against God a new thing? No it was prophesied in God’s word that a power will arise that’ll blaspheme God and think to Change times and laws. This prophecy is fulfilled: “Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws…” Sunday Worship
