Pope Francis is scheduled to visit Kenya on November 25th through to November 27th and his itinerary has now been revealed to the media as follows.
Wednesday November 25th
5.00 PM Arrival at JKIA. He will be received by Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta, Catholic Church Bishops and a “Kenyan family” that is yet to be identified.
6:oo PM A welcome ceremony courtesy of Kenya’s State House.
6:30 PM The Pope is to have a meeting with Kenyan authorities and diplomats at state house.

Thursday November 26th
8:15 AM The pope will chair an ecumenical meeting (meeting with religious leaders of different faiths) at the Apostolic Nunciature Nairobi. This is ‘like’ the official residence of the Vatican ambassador to Kenya. The Pope will also be staying here.
10:00 AM The pope will hold a public mass at the University of Nairobi grounds.

3:45 PM The Pope will meet catholic clergy and seminarians at St. Mary’s School Nairobi.
5:30 PM The Pope will visit the United Nations head office at Gigiri in Nairobi.
Friday November 27th
8:30 AM The Pope will visit Kangemi slums in Nairobi
10:00 AM The Pope will meet with youths at The Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi
11:15 Am The Pope will meet with Kenyan Bishops at the Kasarani Stadium lounge in Nairobi.
3:10 PM A Farewell ceremony for the Pope at JKIA (Jomo Kenyatta Internation Airport)
3:30 PM The Pope will depart Kenya for Uganda.
