Two girl guide leaders who opposed the inclusion of transgender girls over safety concerns, have been expelled and had their units closed down.
A policy introduced by the girlguiding organization last year stated that the group must welcome transgender girls and that leaders are not allowed to tell girls or their parents if there is a girl or leader among them who used to be a boy.
Boys who identify as female are able to share showers, changing rooms and toilets with girls on camping trips
The two expelled guide leaders say they will take legal action against girl guiding if their removals are upheld.
