A Seventh Adventist Church Pastor who went against the doctrines of the church to 'baptize' two women who were living as a married couple and was subsequently fired for it has found new work at the United Church of Christ.
In June 2016, Pastor Dan Wysong of Chico SDA Church presided over the baptism of a ‘married’ (they are not married in God’s eyes) lesbian couple into his church.
This unbiblical action of Chico SDA prompted widespread scrutiny and structure from Church members across America, even invoking a statement from the North America Division, not to mention widespread critism for his actions for faithfuls across the world.
Numerous churches and pastors in the NCC (Northern California Conference) expressed their concern with Chico in general, and Dan Wysong in particular, for setting a morally dangerous unbiblical precedent in Adventism. It was institutional approval of unrepentant open sin.
On October 20, Dan Wysong dedicated the new baby of this lesbian couple and delivered his last sermon. His next destination, United Church of Christ, a place where such an act would be welcome as the church accepts gay marriages. The church even has a transgender deacon.
'They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us” (1 John 2:19).
Environmentalism, gay rights, Social Justice, carbon neutral churches, open immigration, labor Unions, and feminism are just a few of the SJW enthusiasms of the UCC. And no one will question Dan Wysong the next time he baptizes an open homosexual into the Church. He will be protected from mean-spirited short-sighted (tic) individuals who still believe that the Bible means what it says about human sexuality. More on this from Fulcrum 7.
