Facebook is Taking Over The World’s Cashless Payment Systems – Christians Get Plan B!

“More and more, as time advances, our people will have to leave the cities. For years we have been instructed that our brethren and sisters, and especially families with children, should plan to leave the cities as the way opens before them to do so. Many will have to labor earnestly to help open the way. But until it is possible for them to leave, so long as they remain, they should be most active in doing missionary work, however limited their sphere of influence may be.” (Review and Herald, September 27, 1906)

If you are behind the news, let me quickly update you. Facebook started out as what it was meant to be and what it is a community.

As this community started to grow, they start to find ways to bring more people on board. To keep this community from ‘going anywhere else’. Keep you trapped.

So it started out with groups. Of course in a small classroom you must have groups, like maths groups etc. Then from groups, we had pages.

Difference? A group could be more generalist content and needs some players to moderate. A page is more specific content. So for instance, a group can have everything to do with politics and economy, but a page can be more specific to just politics and just a country.

So with pages a new pool opened. Companies and personalities could come on board. So you did not need to fantasize about that football star you like. He could be so far yet so near. You could see what he actually is just about to eat….get it? And so did businesses.

Businesses could now get a social brand. Somewhere to connect with clients and new market on a social interactive way.

And Facebook like the giant beast that will grow to swallow the world that it is, kept going. They made it easier for you to share photos. Actually, Facebook now uploads photos to your Facebook draft on the phone. Don’t waste time going to the directory.

Facebook then decided to encroach on Youtube space. Made for the first time in the history of the world, that it’s so easy for anyone anywhere in the world to broadcast to the ENTIRE world. Effectively gave power to the word SOCIAL MEDIA.

We saw sensational news when shootings in the US were live streamed on Facebook and watched by more than a million people at the same time! Imagine that! Now a scary scene of crime, scene of immense emotion, now that victim was not alone. The world watched in horror and was right there at that time.

So much power as that, you would think it ends there but nay. Facebook has introduced among many other things a bot on their messenger platform that is about to transform the world.

This bot, for Businesses for instance, on your ecommerce platform, instead of people wasting time browsing around, they can simply ‘chat’ with this automated person. This bot can tell which products are most spoken about on Facebook, which have good or bad reviews. Which are most recommended. You know why Facebook will revolutionize this? Because they have the traffic. An excess of a billion people daily!

Here is the next frontier. Facebook introduced a payment system within their Messenger Platform. This payment system is awesome. Basically, a lot of people make their purchases out of influence from friends.

Say an awesome photo of a cake from this particular baker is trending. You go to their page and basically the shop is right there! All you do is make the order and payment on Messenger and someone delivers right at your door! Remember how you can post photos or posts and tag where you were? Yes, Facebook tracks your physical location to an accuracy of few meter radius!

To make it even more interesting, Facebook today announced that the platform will be for FREE. Other online payment platforms charge a transaction fee. Think of paypal or credit cards. There is always a small transaction fee these companies charge. Facebook will NOT.

Now, let’s go to the down side. Facebook has been in the news severally for deleting photos and posts which they deemed not to meet their community standards. You too have probably seen someone complain that their post was deleted or banned or reported for being offensive.

Now, whether such deleting or banning or reporting was fair or not is not in the problem. The problem is a man has decided to draw that line for the world.

You might have seen some negative posts about certain countries being blocked. Certain news coverage being blocked, etc. Of course Facebook denies that, but the reported accounts are numerous, including Facebook banning the live stream of one shooting for a moment.

Here is the danger to any Christian out there. 15 years ago, no one knew what Facebook would look like today. But at least tomorrow, based on their trends we can only speculate where we are going. A place where you can live your life literally on Facebook. And it would be a safe world.

Connect your account to Facebook, pay bills, buy food, pay for your taxi, pay for your parking and a lot. Facebook has the people. They have the infrastructure. And they have a financially vested interest to be a monopoly.

It will be a very beautiful world to anyone out there who can tag the rules. But to a Christian. No. A christian baker will not sell for believing homosexuality is an abomination. Facebook clearly has chosen their side on that.

Most likely, a company that does not believe in Climate Change will not get referrals either right? Get my point?

Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

If you really are a Christian and want to keep a holistic life and business, the world as it is, please approach technology carefully. Either way, it is time, if you live in a city, if your life is dominated by technology and online cashless systems, please consider making an investment upcountry. A farm. A place you can live off the earth as God intended. Make it your plan B.

One post on your timeline can destroy your entire business. The biggest danger to modern day Christians is actually the LGBT group. By claiming Christians are intolerant (though you are yet to see a single Christian throwing a gay man off a building), they get popular support to persecute Christians.

A gay person purposely goes to a Christian baker demanding a gay themed wedding. If you refuse, this person maliciously shares a one sided view of the encounter to his friends who are gay. In their equal fury and disgust they share to more friends and before long, people start sharing, not because they cared to listen to your side, but because the post has a lot of comments, angry emoticons and you ‘don’t want to be the one not offended’.

But why did the Christian refuse? Because it is wrong. God said it is wrong. Now this Christian’s entire business will be destroyed and probably a lawsuit along the way.

If you are a Christian, please start getting a plan B. If you found this article insightful, please share on social media and help warn more people
