God is never giving up on you, until you give up on you

Right before Job, you would assume that the devil was holed up in some super tight prison with layers and layers of circles of fire surrounding him to burn and burn at the sins he has committed. Actually, give someone who has never read the Bible and right before the Book of Job, he would assume the devil was for the bare minimum, serving eternal life terms in chains.

But as much as you read the Bible, you realize that is not the character of God. When Moses asked that God passes before him, this is what He heard

Exo 34:6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

Exo 34:7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

The patience of God and His love is so huge that He sent Christ His own son to redeem the world.

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

1Jn 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

1Jn 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

See, God provided a solution, not only for your sins but for the sins of the world. Free of Charge to you.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Just as God loves us that much, God loved Lucifer so much. Actually, in Heaven Lucifer was third in hierarchy after Christ. But his pride would not allow him to submit to the very laws billions of angels and Jesus Himself abode by. See, Lucifer was a little too greedy. The Bible says he was created perfect,  yet the moment he let his pride go before him, sin was found in him.

Eze 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

And when sin was found in him, instead of repenting, he indulged that sin and it grew into a big monster.

Isa 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Isa 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

Isa 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

See that? So that small sin of being jealous of Christ grew bigger and Lucifer thought in himself that he can form a better government than that of His creator. So he decided not just to take the position of Christ, but that of God the Father as well.

But God was so patient with Lucifer. God did not tie up Lucifer in some cage, that would have given the other fallen angels some reason to contest that they were right. See, God is all about choice. What you choose. God will give you both options, and give you enough backup to make the right choice. Lucifer had contended that God was a tyrant who does not give people room for choice.

Gen 2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Jos 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Deu 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Friend, the choice is yours to make. And still, though the choice is yours, the devil is known to try and take that choice away from you. For Lucifer, when Christ said “it is finished” his fate was sealed.

Joh_19:30  When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Judgement for Lucifer is signed and sealed. But just like Job,

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

Job 1:7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

1Pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

The Devil just like back then is just roaming around the earth. From America to Africa…every where….and Peter says, he is like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour. This means, his fury is even more worse. It is like a person sentenced to death, and he is given 1 year to be with the civilian population before he is killed.

Now this man knows, the courts have given him a year before they can kill him. And if he is killed before that one year, then he can prove the court was unfair to begin with. And so, he is moving everywhere killing people, creating havoc, just so he can push his judgement and convince people that the court was not fair.

Rev 12:12  Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

God says those in heaven can rejoice. The Angels in Heaven are now immune to the tricks of the devil. They did not fall and they will not fall. Not after seeing what the devil was really up to. But see, we on earth are not even a faction of the lives of the Angels. We do not know just what the Devil is capable of. So God is warning us, that the Devil is come to us because he knows his time is short.

And so friend, every time the Devil comes, God is on your team.

Isa 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Friend the Devil is trying hard to seal your fate just as his is sealed. It is never too late to accept Christ, not until you die.

Ecc 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

Ecc 9:6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.

If you are reading this right now, there is a chance to be saved. But the moment you die, their is nothing there but an emptiness waiting for the judgement. In death, you cannot pray nor repent….it is all gone.

But as long as you are living, God is fighting on your side. Even Paul struggled with sin,

Rom 7:19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.

But see, unlike the Devil, you have a chance to turn your life around.

So accept Christ today and command the Devil to leave you.

Mat 16:23 Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
