A woman in Suton, Mass., caught the moment a local school bus full of students lost control on an icy road and slid down the street before slamming into a car.
Local resident Cheryl Katz filmed from her window as the bus appeared to swerve, then lost control and slid backwards down the street. The bus flattened a mailbox before colliding with another car, which was also struggling on the slick road. Luckily, the driver exited the smaller vehicle before the collision.
None of the children on the bus were injured, and both vehicles only sustained minor damage, local police told ABC News.
Suton’s main roads had been treated for ice but some back roads were still slick, which likely caused the accident, the school said in a statement. Police reportedly do not believe the bus driver was at fault.
