How Do You Know You Worship Christ In Truth And Spirit?

2 min

When it comes to matters of theology or religion, there is NEVER a compromise nor a uniting concept outside of the truth. Truth is independent of opinion. By its very definition, Truth is intolerant of error, every aspect petitioning the conscience for acknowledgement. The individual however, holds the key to admission or rejection

With Christ there is never a ground for compromise nor tolerance outside of the truth. We cannot justify nor rationalize error regardless of who died. The death of Christ did NOT nullify nor compromise the truth, His death provided us with a platform to abide by the truth going forward. That is salvation.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Joh 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Joh 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Here Christ confirms that God is the truth. God’s word is the truth. This means that man can NOT dare walk OUTSIDE of God’s word and claim to be walking in the truth. Do you know why?

Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

If we would worship God, we can only worship God in TRUTH-by keeping the word of God. It is absolutely necessary for the people of God to keep the word (law) of God.

Psa 119:105 NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Joh 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

According to the Psalmist, the word of God gives light upon our path. This Light is confirmed to be Christ. By worshiping God in truth and keeping his word, we have a light in our lives that will light our paths. In other words, a Christian cannot claim to be a Christian and break the law of God.

These commandments among them is the Sabbath commandment and I point this out on virtue of how important this commandment is to God. It is in this commandment that God pulls ranks on us. He says keep the Sabbath because I am God, I am your God, I am your creator, I rested on Sabbath to seal the beauty of my creation and I set it apart for ALL eternity that my people will reflect on the beauty of my creation.

Anyone that accepts Christ is reminded to keep the commandments. Christ points out and relates the keeping of the commandments to loving God.
